My Weekend

Hello my friends, praying you all enjoyed your weekend. I am praying for your week to be filled with love, and sweet blessings. Wow, what a weekend I had. On Saturday, lovebug had to work, so I spent the day doing laundry, and cleaning the apartment. After lovebug got home from work, he shaved my head again. I have been having major problems with my scalp again due to my skin condition caused from my diabetes, also due to my thyroid problems, hair was falling out again. So, I am once again, mrs. baldie. Lovebug kept freaking me out by asking me the following questions: Are you ok? Are you going to be able to go back to church, they have not seen you totally without hair. How is your confidence right now? Stop, in the name of love, stop!!! Ok, I am over it. So, we wake up Sunday morning to a flood in our apartment. Our upstairs neighbor, had a leak in their washing machine, and it caused a leak in our ceiling. It totally flooded our living room closet, and into our living room. It ruined several things in our closet, such a mess. So, needless to say, we were not able to go to church yesterday, which I really hated. I miss it so much, going to church gets me through the week. I always tell my pastor that I get my tank filled up on Sunday, and by Wednesday, it is half empty. So, I go to church on Wednesday to get my tank refilled. Back to my hair, or lack of hair. I do not care anymore. I am who I am. God created me, and He loves me as I am. I go to church to worship, and praise God, not people. So, when I go to church Wednesday night, if anyone stares, or says anything(which in my heart, I do not think anyone will), I am just going to smile really big, and say bless you my friend. Have a wonder-filled day everyone.

Bless your heart, my friend.
Sorry, about your apartment but it could have been worse. I always look at it that way.
It was a glorious weekend here. Now, I just have to get something done.
Love,
Mama Bear

Isn't it wonderful that the Lord looks into our hearts not our physical appearances. So, you're right on that! Who cares if you don't have hair? There are lots of people who have lots of hair but their attitude stinks! So, you go sister! God bless.

Oh what a sweet post. I love the ending. But back to the flood I am so sorry. Did you loose anything? What a mess. I am glad God gave you patience so you could be at peace.
You are an inspiration.
Have a Blessed week,
Sherry

What about head jewelry?
Just a thought like a necklace type thing around your head?
Just an idea. Sorta like a headband with an accent?

Your heart is so beautiful that if I saw you in church I'm honestly not sure I'd notice your hair.

I love you!

Oh Denise...
I've been out of town and missed so many posts for so many of my blogging friends. But this one? It broke my heart... to think that your sweet Lovebug would worry that people at church might not accept you without hair. Ohhh.. no,no... I know that could not be. Your inner self HAS to shine through in real life just as it does through your blog, and I just KNOW that all who know you love YOU; not your hair or clothes or makeup, or any other superficial thing, but YOU. YOU are beautiful; I wish I could be as lovely as you are! And I know that your Lovebug loves the YOU that resides in your earthly tent, but hopefully he understands that you are strong enough to be MORE than that tent when you go out into the world! You surely transcend it in my eyes....
love you, my friend.. and praying for you to feel refreshed and wonderful...

Summer is a great time to shave your head. I can't think of the name of a newslady who lost her hair during treatment for cancer. She was absolutely stunning with her head shaved! I'm sure you bear your bare head regally, too. I'm proud of you and know God will crown you with unusual grace and beauty.

Your spirit and His abiding in you makes you beautiful, friend. It's nice that Lovebug was concerned, though. He loves you so much. Sorry to hear about the flood. Hope things are back to normal now.
