In Other Words Tuesday

“We need to get to the point where we are tired of God just being a resident of our life, and make Him President of our life, the Commander and Chief, the One in charge.” David Jeremiah: I say a great big amen to this my friends. I personally, do not want God to just be someone that resides at my address, that occasionally I talk about, and on the rare occasion, I let Him speak. No way!! I want God, front and center in my life. I want Him at the helm of my ship, and I also want Him as the anchor of my ship. I want Him guiding the steering wheel of my car, and in control of the brakes of my car. I want Him leading my every footstep, as well as numbering them. I want Him as the head of my household, not the foot, that gets stepped and stumbled upon sometimes. I choose to follow His lead, all the days of my life.

Amen to that. I want God as the head too. Isn't that what Joshua said once, "As for me, me and my household will serve the Lord." That isn't done by putting him in the rear but upfront where He belongs.

I like your "front and center" line. Amen to what you wrote. He will lead you, Denise.
