Focus On Missions- Linda Berg


Fast Facts: Birthday (12/28) Education B.S. with a double major in Bible and music, Multnomah Bible College, Portland, Oregon Short-term/Ministry Experience Camp counselor, Sunday school and AWANA leader, music ensembles, choir, choir director (children, youth and adult), discipleship, student government, short-term missions: High School — music ensemble traveled around the Philippines. Summer (three months) 1990 and 1993 — Royal Servants International to Europe. 2002 (two-and-a-half weeks) Hawaii — singing ensemble. 2004 (eight days) Northwest Medical Teams to Honduras — building school and ministering to the children. 2006 (two-and-a-half weeks) Luis Palau/Next Generation Alliance to India — evangelistic meetings/singing/women’s conferences. 2006 (10 days) Philippines — vacation turned into singing ministry at local churches and at Faith Academy. 2006 (two days) Serbia — visiting missionary friends to encourage their ministry and service. 2006 (one week) Albania — singing at a church conference, helping local missionary with food and clothing program to local children, Bible study to women, encouraging local believers with prayer and discipleship Endorsed March 2007 Home Church : Grace Community Church, Gresham, Oregon Ministry at a Glance: Primary Ministry Focus: Teaching elementary music at Faith Academy in Manila, Philippines.The People: Missionary or ministry kids from kindergarten to 5th grade. What an accomplishment, I am glad she is doing work in the Philippines.I am hoping to send my kids there someday, maybe to learn Tagalog and meet their family.
