I am overflowing with thankfulness. I am so thankful that my Father loves me, He loves me!! I feel so unworthy, but in His eyes, I am worthy. All I have to be is me. That is so awesome. I am thankful for the close relationship we have. I am thankful for all the heart to heart talks we share, He is so gentle with my heart. I can cry to Him, and with Him. I can laugh with Him, I know there have been many times I have cracked Him up with my antics. He gives such great advice, keeps my life on the right track. When I am scared, or worried, His lap is my place of comfort. His hand lifts me up to places that on my own, I would never be able to reach. He is my biggest cheerleader, always there to push me a little bit further to reach my goals. I am definitely a Daddy's girl, and not ashamed to admit that. My Daddy has first place in my life, and always will. Daddy, Your love is my most prized possession. Come on, climb up, and sit in Daddy's lap for awhile, He will calm Your fears, and wipe away your tears. There is always room for His children. I love You Daddy, I love You.

I love this post, Denise. I was only 10 years old when my father died, and I miss him calling me to sit on his lap and tell me how happy and proud he was with me.
I miss my biological father, but I have a father now, it is God. I cried out to Him every time I am in trouble, or in need, or confused... And the wonderful thing is, He made me feel that He is the father that I need that I don't have. Glorify His Name!
