Hello everyone, time to count our blessings. I love Thankful Thursday. I want to thank Iris for hosting all these years, you did such a great job. I appreciate all the effort you put into this meme, you will be missed. I also would like to thank Lynn, and Laurie for stepping up, and volunteering to host Thankful Thursday, bless you both. Now, to count my blessings. I praise God for my brother in-laws salvation, he gave his life to the Lord today. He has been an alcoholic for years, we are praying that he never drinks again. I praise God for the wonderful news we received on Monday regarding lovebugs job. He gets to work five days next week, instead of four. I praise God for blessing me with opportunities to serve Him. This coming Sunday, I will no longer be going to my dads church, lovebug and I are going back to our old church Lighthouse. My dads church is just way too big, and I have no opportunity to serve. My dad was very understanding, he wants me to be where I feel comfortable, and can work for the Lord. I will visit his church on fathers day, and other occasions, and he said he is going to visit my church. My friend called me this week, and said Lighthouse needs volunteers for children's church, and they need Sunday school teachers. She and I are going to work in children's church together, and I am going to be a Sunday school teacher. I am so happy, I always loved teaching. I praise You Lord for allowing me the chance to teach again. I praise You Lord for this awesome life You have blessed me with, and I love You so very much.

That is exciting about your brother in law. My brother in law has a similar story, he is an alcoholic, and became a christian. It has been a struggle, but God continues to direct his path! May God bless your BIL. :)
oh wow! i also teach kid's church every first and third week of the month. that's one of the ways i serve God.

Great to hear about lovebug's job!! And the children will be lucky to have you teach them! Did I miss your post for the give-away so I could enter you 3 more times? Oh wow! I'm so happy that your BIL is now also your BIC (brother in Christ)! That is so awesome!
I understand the whole switching churches thing. We've gone to a different church to try something new as well, and it helps sometimes. However, I love my home church! And smaller churches are easier to volunteer at as well!
Oh that is going to be so fun!
