Thankful Thursday

Praise God for all of His beautiful blessings upon my life. My cup has been running over all week. Both church services on Sunday were so awesome. The preaching, the music, the love, everything blessed me. I talked to my dad on Tuesday, and he wanted me to sing to him. Recently, every time we talk, he wants me to sing to him. That makes my heart smile really big. So, I sang to him a song we had sang at church on Sunday, and that I had been singing around the apartment all week. He loved it, bless his heart. Then, he totally blessed my socks off, he told me that he really wants me to be able to go to the bloggers retreat in October, so he is going to pay for me to go. Praise God, my dad loves me, and wants me to be happy. I have prayed for this all of my life. Lovebug found out this week, that unemployment is going to back pay him for the week of March 2-6, and pay him for this week. I praise God for His financial blessings upon our life. I had a doctor appointment this week, the news was not to good, but that is ok. Because it does not matter if I am sick, or well, I will serve my God. He gave His life for me, the least I can do is work for Him in my church, and my world. The song we sang at church, and I sang to my dad is by Misty Edwards. It is playing on my blog, the name of it is my soul longs for You. Here are the words to it: My soul longs for You, my soul longs for You,Nothing else will do, nothing else will do,my soul longs for You, my soul longs for You,Nothing else will do, nothing else will do... I believe You will come like the rain... You'll come like the rain,so let it rain, let it rain, let it rain, let it rain... Hallelujah Hallelujah You'll make all things new

My soul truly does long for You Lord, and there is nothing else that I long for, because nothing else will do. I believe that You will come like the rain, so let it rain. Pour down upon me, make all things new. Reign Lord, Reign. I love You. Amen

Denise, you have such a thankful heart. It is so obvious to me. How precious that you and your dad have such a good relationship at this time. From reading your previous posts, this wasn't always the case. Praise God for the change in him. And how kind of him to offer to send you to the blogger conference. I'm so happy for you. Keep singing praises.

Your faith is an inspiration to me and so many others. You have that gift of being able to find the blessing even if it seems hidden in the humdrum of every day life. Thank you for being you. I hope you get to go to that retreat. I pray your health will improve. I ask God to bless your finances and to open a door for your husband to find meaningful work.

God bless you!

Oh Denise, I'm so happy for you! That is so good to hear about you and your dad. As for you, I pray what ever you found out at the doctor will be cured and removed from you now. May you be covered by the blood of Jesus and made whole again. You are a beautiful daughter of the Lord, may He heal you now so that you can continue on the path He is leading you.
Bless you sweet woman for your strength and love in the Lord! You are such a breath of fresh air!
