Here is todays question: Are you active in a church, or weekly Bible study with fellow believers?

Yes to both of those questions. I am very involved in our church. I am the Director of Children's Ministries there and I also lead in a couple of programs.

I am involved in an awesome Bible STudy every Wednesday Morning

Frankly saying, I am not active at all. I read Bible but not in regular dose and I also join fellowship every week but I don't have companionship with other fellow. I don't know.

Our family is currently "Home Churching". We gather 2x's a week with 4 core families (inculding ours). We do church in the park sometimes and often a time or two we are able to minister to those who've come out to play with their familes- I always love those moments. recently we were able to love on a homeless man during one of our church park days :O)

Right now, I am basically studying the Bible with just me and the Lord. It is always a good time lacking nobody really--- but, I have just began to start to feel a hunger to connect with other like-minded women to have a Bible study with or some sort of weekly devotion time with.

Blessings,
Deanna

We go twice a month to a small group. We are doing the Truth Project right now. And we are members of a church.

Yes, we are active in our church and there's nothing like having fellowship with other believers.

yes, we actively go to church except we haven't been much since Christmas due to illnesses, trips, etc. But that's how it is this time of year. Once spring hits we'll be back full time!

OH yes. I have to be. Not only are we commanded to not forsake gathering together with His people, but if I don't go I feel like I've missed something. The fellowship and learning together from God's Word is wonderful for my soul.

Wow I was thinking of a post on this subject. We are members of a church. We get to S.S. ocassionally. Our ministry consumes us and takes us away from church. We are usually at the halfway house on Sundays.
I miss corporate worship and get to go to our daughters church some on Sundays and on Sat. nights.
I am not involved in a Bibl study because of ministry again.
But I just joined an online group this week. And I am excited about that.
I miss the fellowship you get a church but honestly I think it has a lot to do with the church also our S.S. class is just not into much fellowship and the church doesn't offer a lot.
Do I get a prize for the longest answer! LOL. I can't wait to find up what you are cookin' up with all these ?'s.
Have a glorius day!
Hugs,
Sherry

I've been going to the same church now for 8 years. I serve on the worship team and choir, and make baby quilts for new babies. Occasionally, I do drama (e.g. Dessert Theater). Right now, I'm taking an intro to systematic theology class. It's heady stuff, but very, very cool.

Yes to both! Church is like our home away from home! My husband and I are both involved in Childrens Ministry and my husband also plays on the worship team. My kids are also involved with everything..LOL.

I do attend a womens bible study every Wednesday night!! We're going through the book of Hebrews.

I do devotionals and my own bible study books, but do not have one I'm active with through Church. I wish I did though!
I'm thinking of starting a group in my own home. Maybe some of the sisterchicks would come?
Have a beautiful day Denise!
Holykisses,
Lea

Yes, to both here. I am the music director, worship leader at our church, which I know is a gift from the Lord above. And we are faithful to Sunday morning services and Wednesday night bible study. I also study the bible with a close girlfriend. We are hungry for more of His precious word and to know Him more.
"For wisdom is a defense, and money is a defense: but the excellence of knowledge is that wisdom gives life to those that have it." Ecclesiastes 7:12

Yes to both. :) I attend church and I lead a weekly bible study. I would like to have a weekly bible study that I can just go to.

When I was still in the Philippines (9 mos ago), I belonged to "Door of Hope" Ministry. We minister to children of the poor family.
Since I come here, I only go to church on Sunday. I have to learn how to drive before I will involve myself to any ministry here. I don't want to be a burden.

Yes, we are active in church and Sunday School but, I just started my first Bible study...ever! I know...you are shocked.

Things were never at a time that was workable with my job, mothering, school activities and children's sports until now. However, I am struggling with this one that we just started. I "thought" it said from 12-1 (lunch hour) Bible study but today...I snuck off work at 11:40 AM and didn't get back until 2:20 PM. I can't do that! I talked to our leader and she said it would be a 2 hour Bible study (plus driving time about 15 min. each way)x 9 weeks. Now that is another problem...Thursdays are our busiest day of the week in the office. I am struggling with what to do. I want to take the course but I need my job too! I don't want to be without a job in this economy :(

It is also offered at night but that doesn't work either! Yikes...will I ever get to participate in a Bible study???

Hellow my friend - Our church is rather small and getting together weekly is pretty tough for us. However, our mens group and womens groups meet every other week on opposite weeks. Other than that Im involved in: co-leader of women's group, leader of the youth group (with Brian) and one of the teachers for children's church. I also sing in our praise band as well.

church: yes, several times a week.
fellowship with believers outside of church: yes, about once a week.
Bible study with others: this has fallen by the wayside lately. It's hard for me to be away from home right now, small children and home schooling. But I try to get into the Bible on my own several times a week.
