How would my life look if I no longer struggled with _______? What if I was completely free from ______ through Christ’s power…(Put your struggle/stronghold in the blank): Ok, here I go. How would my life look if I no longer struggled with self esteem issues? Wow, I can hardly imagine what my life would be like to not struggle with self esteem issues constantly. In my entire life, I have never liked myself. I have always felt as if I were stupid, fat, and ugly. Not good enough to be in the world. What if I was completely free from self esteem issues through Christ's power? Praise God, that would be so awesome. I want to be able to see myself through His eyes, not mine. I love You Father, please forgive me for my self doubts .

Really makes one think. God sees us that way even if we don't see ourselves free.

Denise, thanks for being so honest. My heart cries out to you because I know exactly how you feel. But know this: you are a child of the Most High God, created in His image. You are beautiful, you are a princess, you are amazing. You are such an encouragement to me, and I'm so thankful God brought you into my bloggy life. God made you just the way you are...and He doesn't make mistakes. :) ((HUGS))

Isn't it funny that I thought you would insert the word Diabetes. Very telling of the stronghold many of us struggle with, no matter our health, wealth, or looks. Lord, please release us from our lack of faith in this area. Help us to realize that You are enough. You are holy. You are our Abba. Because of who we are and whose we are, satan can go back to hell where he belongs. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Ahhhh, I could have said that too. I pray God will give you a vision of yourself through His eyes (I pray that for myself as well).

You definitely shine with beauty here.

Bless you Denise!

We seem to view the world through the same lens. Looks like the Great Physician needs to refit us, doesn't it? Time for an "eye exam"...
That was a beautiful post.. and one that pierced me. I needed it..thank you...

I see beauty in you, ever since I've met you online. I see your heart. And it's that what God looks at. May you believe the truth of who you are a little more everyday. God created a beautiful gem when He made you.

Love you,

Tiffany

I pray too that you KNOW FULLY how He sees you. I am becoming convinced mroe and more that our lives would be so much richer if we could only grasp the massive and amazing love the Father holds for us! Blessings to you today.

Isn't it wonderful to know that God loves and accepts us exactly as we are? No greater assurance!♥

Denise, one thing I am so thankful of, is that we don't need self-esteem. We are brought with a precious price. So that means, we are SOMEBODY SPECIAL.

Denise,

You are one of the most beautiful people I know. Self esteem issues are difficult to overcome, but you can do it with God's help.

God created you in HIS image, my friend and there cannot be anything negative about that. He is all powerful. He knew exactly how you would look and what you would be before you were conceived. Praise and glory to Him.
He doesn't make mistakes.

Blessings,
Mary

I have battled with self esteem issues since my first marriage and that was 25+ years ago. With the Lord's help and Roger's, I am much better than I used to be but it still rears its ugly head from time to time.

I can completely relate to those feelings. One day...we will see ourselves the way that Jesus does. Oh, what a glorious day that will be.

I love you, Denise!

I've asked myself the same questions regarding similar circumstances.

I struggled with this issue too! When I was young and thin then I thought I wasn't smart enough!!! Now that I am old and fat as a butterball I feel bad at times! Since I am losing weight because of health issues maybe this one will get better!!
By the way you are one of the nicest sweetest person I know!!! Love and a big hug, Grams
