What Are You Learning

I am learning that God has a plan for my life, He is trying to lead me along a path of His choosing, but He will not force me to follow. He has given me free will, which is the opportunity to make decisions for myself. As I go through my day, I need to keep my eyes, ears, and my heart open, because God is patiently trying to get His message through. There is no better time, than now, for me to help Him. God has promised me, that when I do my duties in small matters, He will give me additional responsibilities. Temporary setbacks can lead to greater victories. God sometimes rewards us by saying no to our prayers, so that He can say yes to a far greater request, that we would never have thought to ask for. As I seek to discover, or perhaps rediscover Gods plan for my life, I should start by remembering this: I am here because God put me here, and He did so for a very good reason, His reason. Wherever I find myself, whether on the mountaintops, in the valleys, or at the crossroads of life, I can be assured that God is there, and He has a plan.

Very good observation, Denise. I SO appreciate God's gift of free will ... but I DO wish I could do a better job of keeping it in line with what pleases Him! It is sometimes a struggle, but don't you know that He watches us struggling, and His heart melts with love toward us when He sees how hard we try, because He KNOWS it is because we love Him!

A beautiful post. We may not be certian about 'everything' but we sure can be certian about Him being with us every moment- never leaving or forsaking.

God bless to you!!!

Yes indeed.... HE had a plan when HE formed you in your mothers womb..... I have a book that you need to read........... I will find it and send it along to you! Finding your "sweet spot" The thing that the Lord has given you the talent to do......... It is a great book....... I read it a few years ago and it confirmed that I should write........ I love to write and have all my life...... Just needed some instruction as to how to discover my "sweet spot in the Kingdom"
