Hello everyone, my favorite time is here, Thankful Thursday. The theme this week is security. God is my security blanket, I daily wrap up in His secure arms. Without that powerful security, I would be lost in my own insecurities. I have never thought anything good about myself, I find many faults with myself. Praise God for showing me with His love, that I am fine just the way I am. I do not have to be perfect, just me. Throughout my life, I have often been in some perilous situations, but God had me securily in His arms even then. All my life, God has watched over me as a Father watches over His daughter, which was extra special to me, due to the fact that my earthly father wanted nothing to do with me, and was not in my life. Recently, my heavenly Father has blessed me with extra security and happiness. He has brought my earthly father into my life, and we will be going to church together starting this Sunday. Talk about security, sitting in church with two Fathers, that is what I call total heart security.

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord that you have them both now. Just think of the comfort you will feel in church. And Thank You Lord for letting Denise see what a beautiful woman she is.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but given the track record with your earthly father, take it slow, don't wrap up too many hopes with him, and then be hurt even worse than before...it's great that he's trying with you again, just be careful. Been there, done that!! Wishing you two only the best. Sounds as if he has found a good woman to go to church with also in a new girlfriend.

oh how exciting! Everything in God's wise time:) My earthly father left before we could reunite, but I feel him now, being the dad he couldn't. And because of him, I now have my sweet mother attending church with me:), heaven on earth for sure.

Yes, we have security in His love and knowing He has a plan for us - a future of hope!
Lord, we thank You for Denise and her heart for You! We thank You that no matter what seasons come into her life - she chooses to see You in them and how You are going to bring her through! It's so good to know how God thinks of us! We can be so hard on ourselves and so can life! God is my refuge too! Happy Belated TT!
The one thing I figured out over the last year is that NO ONE on earth, no matter how much they might love us, is as 100% faithful in our care as our Father above. Even as I go through whatever it is I'm going through, it's such a safe and secure feeling to know that not only is He with me, He is probably carrying me.
