Super Simple Sunday

Our job is not to point out faults and failures,
But to point others to Jesus, let God do the rest.
Jesus said: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. John 12:32
When we spend our time and effort finding fault,
we are not lifting up Jesus. (the only answer)
Judge not, that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1
God sees things we can't see, He sees the heart.
We don't know what's in a person's heart.
But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7

God is not waiting to smack us if we mess up,
He wants to pick us up and hold us.
Because He loves us.
And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. John 12:47

Wonderful post I live my life and taught my kid to live by."Judge not, that ye be not judged. Matthew 7:1".
If you want to do a post like mine. you can either answer the same questions I was asked or I posted my questions in my comments.

Great Denise!!

If God had smacked me every time I messed up, I'd still be laying on the floor!!

But, no--He waited for me, waited until I was ready to come to Him. Did I still mess up? Sure I do, we all do.

And then God picks us up, brushes us off and loves us--in spite of everything.

My feeling is that if God has extended so much grace to me, I can learn from Him and extend grace to others!

Wonderful relections! I have so much to do within myself...to take the plank out of my own eye...to grasp that we truly do not know a heart and only God can! Wonderful!
