Legacy Moments-Faith

Today's Legacy Moment question is this: How do you live your faith out in front of others? This includes your family and those around you. How do they see you are a person of faith? I try to live my faith out in front of family, and others by letting them know how very much I love the Lord. He is such a huge part of my life, and I try to let that show everyday. When I am dealing with my health problems, I pray that others can see my faith through my trials. I continue to lean on the Lord, and always praise Him in my storms. Without faith, life would be hopeless. I want to share my faith, never keep it to myself.

I think that's the key, Denise. You have to live your faith out loud for the whole world to see. Who knows when a little kindness you show might draw someone to God.

You are definitely a testimony, Denise.

My "living out" varies. I have some family members that I cannot get into a faith discussion with, so i try to listen and love and be there for them when they need it. One day, soon hopefully, when the eyes of their hearts open, I'll be right here waiting to chat with them.

Love you. Great question to ponder!!!

From what I know of you, you do a very good job indeed! I simply try not to hide Him. If I would normally tell a Christian friend that I prayed about something I also tell someone that I do not know where their faith stands. I talk about Jesus...without trying to put it on more than it is. If He was there in a moment then I share that. And He is always there. I try to pray with Christian friends right on the spot instead of saying I will pray...whether other people non-Christian are around or not...And I offer to pray with people to whom I do not know where their faith stands. If they say yes I pray right there and then. Just a few things I do. LOL!

Denise,

We are told to shine our light before men and you do just that. I am always blessed by your living out loud faith.

Blessings to you today.

Without a doubt, you live your faith out loud. We never know who is watching us and whether we encourage them or discourage them by our actions.

Love you!

We are talking about this right now in our Ladies Bible study. You have such a tender heart, and your love for the Lord shines right through. I've missed visiting with you. I'm glad you and your dad are rebuilding your relationship together with the Lord's help. I learned a little more about you in your post about leaving home and being prepared for the world. I am so glad you have a wonderful husband who loves and takes care of you now. !Blessings my friend!

"When I am dealing with my health problems, I pray that others can see my faith through my trials." Words of promise, words of life, Denise! Few places are in greater need of faith examples than our health care system is. God bless you for ministering even as you suffer - it is, after all, the way of the Master. Love you!

I believe that this is the best way to show our love for our Lord..People watch you all of the time and I am sure that you know that..They watch you more when you are going through the hard times because they know that is when they think you will fall apart....Not always so...hang in there..

Amen and Amen!! Just like the bible says that we should let our light shine, we should live our faith. I think the key is not to be afraid to tell people how great God is and how we're expecting the unexpected. God is faithful and just. This is a great post!!

Stay Bless and Stay Strong!!

A very thought provoking post, I always give God thanks. Sometimes I think people think that might be silly but every good thing comes from above so from a close parking spot to my pay check He gets my praise for everything. And I try not to worry because I have faith He is in control.
Denise your love and faith in Jesus Christ shines very brightly.
