Cafe Chat-Miracles

God is always watching over us, never doubt that for one second. I have a miracle to prove that fact. Several years ago, my niece was living with us. She was trying to lose some weight at the time, and had started running. One evening, she came into my room, and asked me if I wanted to go to the track with her. Her friend had planned on going with her, but was not going to be able to make it. I almost said no, was really not feeling up to going. But, I decided to go, I did not want her to be alone at the track. When we got there, I could not believe how dark the track area was. We started walking, and then she asked if it would be ok, if she started running. I told her that was fine, so away she went, while I continued to walk. As I got halfway around the track, I heard voices. The voices were male, and were coming from the woods beside the track. The words I heard them saying, brought great fear to my heart, they were watching my niece and I. They were deciding which one was going to have my niece, and which one was going to have me. I started running, I caught up with my niece. I took her hand in mine, and I spoke these words as calmly as I could. I said, sweetie, there are some guys in the woods watching us. They want to hurt us, please do not be afraid. I promised her that I would not let anything happen to her, I would have given my life for her. I told her to quickly go get in her car, and start it up. She started running again, and right as she got to the car, I saw the four guys walking up towards the track. She got in the car, and started it. Just as I reached the car, opened the door, and got in, there they were. I told her to floor it, and she did. We were both crying, and praying. God was with us that night, He kept us safe. I praise Him for His love and protection. I found out later, that two months before, at that track , a girl had been ganged raped by four guys that had pulled her into the woods. They beat her severely, and raped her. Miracles do happen my friends, and I am so thankful for them.

Wow Denise, how scarey. So sad about the other girl. Hope they caught those men. There is great sickness out there. I pray they come to their senses, to the Lord.

God is good. What a testimony to that. Thank heavens you were able to keep level headed. God was definitely looking out for you both, as He led you to go with her. Praise the Lord for having kept you safe.

Thank you for sharing.

Yes yes.. I absolutely agree with you sister. God is watching us every day every time. Even though, we do not recognize it and even everything seems blurry, He is always there to guide us.

And sister, if I were you, I must have been scared to death. Oh My God! That was really awful. Thank God He saved you and your niece.

Thank you for sharing, sister.
