Daniel 3:20-23
And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. ... these men were bound ... and were cast into the midst of the burning fiery furnace. ... the flame of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. ... these three men, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
Daniel 3:24-27
Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spoke, ... Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? ... True, O king. ... Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire.
The Song says it all!
He's still in the fire, and He's walking in the flame,
and He'll be there to help you when you call upon His name.
And He can still deliver by His almighty power,
while here below, it's good to know, He's still in the fire.
~ ~ ~So, when it seems we are in the fire,
look around, we'll see Him!
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. Hebrews 13:5

Amen Girl!
Isn't it silly but some times we miss the greatest of His blessings because we are unwilling to go through the rough time.
I love that the three came out of the furnace without even the smell of smoke on them.....God is good.
And that will PREACH!
Eyes straight ahead...keep walking. You are not alone.
Praise God He is with us through the fire. I have always loved the story of these 3 men. Praying for you...
Thank you for the precious reminder that gold is tried in the fire, not destroyed.
Awesome graphic and Scripture, and lovely post, Denise! I love it. Happy WFW!
Have a blessed WFW!
Awesome, awesome awesome! When I grow up (at 45, can I still say that?) can I please have some of your wisdom?
Actually, I had just read this story last week and was absolutely dumbfounded by it. Amazing faith!
Blessings to you, my beloved friend.
Great post! Thank you so much for sharing this.
WOW! Great reminder.
Beautiful post and wonderful reminder of God's power. I love that song!
WOW, I've never seen Hebrews 13:5 like that before. I mean I never noticed the first part of the verse. The point of being content with what you have is that God himself is with you and will never forsake you. Beautiful

This is so timely and lovely. Thanks, Dear One.
Ok so that was just the perfect thing for the moment. Dove is very ill . She can not stop coughing. I called the advice nures and left a message. Dash went off to school with good courage. I am tired and my heart sorta hurts still, 5th day of migraine and sound sensitivity. With my babies cough hurts in my ears and she is so sweet. I gave her a breathing treatment. I got to get her in to the doc. Mr U is getting sick too. Oh mercy! I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. This helped the focus sis thanks. I just had a moment and came right here for a morsel got a meal.
Hi, Denise. I've always loved the story of Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego as it is such a great story of all that God can do when we fully trust in Him.
