Test Day

Hello my friends, hope you all had a nice day. Well, today was my mammogram, stress test, and echo cardiogram. My day started off bright and early, well actually, it was dark, sprinkling rain, and very cold. Anyway, I had to be at the hospital at 7:00, my mammogram was at 7:15. Just what I always wanted, to have my day start off, with a compacting of my girls!! Now, I truly know how sardines feel when they get compacted into that little can. Let me hear a great big amen my friends! Then, me and my girls, headed over to the radiology department for my stress test. Poor lovebug hung out at the waiting room, such a fun time, not!! Due to my recent problems, I could not walk on the treadmill, so I had to have a chemical stress test. It was scary, I got very out of breath, and was really hurting in my chest. I was truly praising God when she said it was over. Now, comes the waiting for the results, but I will know by Friday. I will let you all know, as soon as I know. Take care, I love you all.

YOU HAVE AN AMEN FROM THE POTTING SHED! HEEHEE FUNFUNFUN ~ Common logic tells me that if a woman didn't have something wrong BEFORE a mammogram... shes probly gonna have a problem AFTER a MAMMYGRAMMY, don't ya think? I mean; how can that not DO DAMAGE?! -- and I always forget those little "BANDAIDS?" on, coz I'm in such a HURRY* TO GET OUT OF THERE.. That's always an: OHGOODGRIEF* MOMENT later! HA! ~ btw the picture is FUNNY!
Anyhow, I'll be prayin you get a GREAT result, and especially over your stress test results.

I have been praying and I am looking forward to a good report and if anything is broke may the good Lord give the doctors wisdom to fix it.
I have always loved that mammo comic, I am a registered mammographer and until I had my first one I did not realize how bad it really hurt and how much I wanted to slap the tech for telling me to, "Hang in there". It really does smart but that compression can make or break an exam and if you are going to go through it at all it may as well hurt and be done right than to be done wrong and have a calcification missed- there I have given my educational tid bit today.

Denise, go to bed! It's after midnight and you've already been by my place for today's post. After I read all you guys have been through today, I was even more shocked that you are still awake. Shut it down, Sister, shut it down! [of course the only way I know you still up at all hours of the night is because I am up all hours of the night. Uh oh! Sandman's at the door; I gotta take this call. Sleep well, dear one, we are all praying God's will is made more clear by the results of today's tests. Love ya!

I will be praying for your results to be good ones - or at least to give you some answers! I had to have a cyst removed from my left breast 2 years ago and that was amazingly painful, so, I understand!! I've also had that kind of stress test, and the regular one, and a "tilt table test" where they gave me something under my tongue to make me pass out which was so scary!! (((HUGS)) I certainly know what you are going through and Im here for you!!

Sandi said...

praying for your results. And good for you taking care of your "girls"

Bwahahaha, I LOVED that picture! I'm one of the lucky ones in that I have a mammo uncomfortable but not painful.

Love you SO MUCH and keeping you in my prayers.
