Mission 4 Monday

Chaplaincy Fund at your local hospital- Hospital chaplains provide an invaluable service to family and friends of a patient, as well as the patient. They listen; offer comfort, a shoulder to cry on, someone to pray with; offer measured, reasoned advice if asked.During my mommas illness, this was invaluable to me. These organizations within the health care system, are generally underfunded, and perhaps overlooked. For me, the Chaplain was vital. So, please consider donating to this very worthy, and definitely needed cause. Also, take time to greet the Chaplain with a smile, and a kind word. They would very much appreciate your efforts, remember, they are doing the Lords work. Bless you my friends.

Thank you so very much for telling us about this wonderful organization. There is no better time than now to reach out to help those who help others.

Have a great Monday!

I second this. My Grandmother is a volunteer chaplain at our hospital and her work in invaluable.

I saw your comment on sailorcross and thought I would pop. You're from Chattanooga? That is our favorite place next to Gatlinburg. My inlaws live in Chickamauga.

So true... many people in the hospital do not have a minister, so this may provide the only spiritual guidance they may receive. Blessings to you....

Every time I've been in the hospital for an overnight visit, a chaplain always pops in for a visit. What a wonderful ministry they have. Thank you for raising awareness to the wonderful things they do. Truly unsung heroes of the faith.

Blessings Denise, This is so thoughtful of you! Thank you so much for thinking of mentioning this. You are so right, they are overlooked but provide a very necessary outreach! They are so ready to minister to many in the hospital that need encouragement.
We must pray for them as well as donate to such a worthy cause of people helping us in our difficult
circumstances with health & even death. Chaplains are vital! They may be the only touch of God some receive a glimmer of HOPE!

My pastor back home goes as a Chaplain, but I know it's not his regular job...but I think they rotate and he goes at least once a week! I was so blessed by him & his wife showing up to my brother's funeral. It gave me such strength!

Bless you my dear sis as you continue to bless so many! Thanks for sharing with Mission 4 Mondays! You always offer such great ones!!!

I did not forget about the 2 tags,
it's coming along with one more.
Thank you again for the honor of calling you friend & sister!
