Marriage Monday-Grace In Marriage

The topic this month is GRACE. Our guest hostess this month is Robyn at Overflowing Grace so be sure and visit her as well.: Grace is truly a gift from God, it is not earned by us, He freely gives it to us. I praise Him for the gift of my marriage. I am not a perfect wife, and lovebug is not a perfect husband. We both have our own imperfections, and sometimes the imperfections can become irritations. But, we love each other enough, to be graceful to one another. Lovebug has shown so much grace to me concerning my health. He could easily become sick and tired, of seeing me be sick and tired. Instead, he always shows such love and grace to me. We both realize the precious gift that we have been given, and we choose to treat our marriage with sweetly seasoned grace.

How great our God is to show us what Grace looks like in action.
It then allows me to see my walk held up to the light of His truth.
I am glad that God is at work so powerfully in your marriage. In these days sometimes it is hard to love freely....without strings. Keep walking in grace letting Him shine through you.
It is beautiful!

Thank you for this sweet reminder, hon! Charlie has been sick so much lately and I often let my fear and anxiety and heavy work load (because he can;t help me) make me grumpy towards my sweet hubby. I will have to work harder on having grace towards him.

I am so happy that your dr. ordered all of those tests. It sounds like she really listens to you & that she is taking good care of you!!

Also, thank you SO much for your prayers! Thanks to the antibiotics, I am feeling much better. =)

And, I LOVE your new blog look!!!! So pretty!!

Love you, my friend!!

My husband shows me grace in my illnesses, too, Denise. It's a wonderful characteristic straight from God that our husbands have. I loved reading your post. It was endearing, honey.

Praise God that you have a husband who loves you in sickness and in health! It's wonderful to know that you both are committed to showing grace to one another. I find that it takes constant "seasoning" to keep a marriage graceful.

Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed visiting your blog today!

Praise God for giving you a very loving and kind husband, and very gracious indeed towards you. I am sure you are an equally loving, kind and gracious wife. Thank God for blessing you with one another. May He continue to bless both of you as you walk with Him and serve Him together. Take care!

Yes, grace, and her best friend, mercy are often missing with those we say we love the most. Thanks for the reminder. People see our belief through our actions, usually of grace and/or mercy.

I understand about the sick & tired part. I have been dealing with a chronic auto-immune disorder for over 4 years now. When I had to have my spleen removed, my HUB was so sweet and caring. I remember the 2 of us going into the cancer center for my bone marrow biopsy and then the excruciatingly long, 10 day wait for its results. He was so upbeat and kept me from growing anxious during that time. I told him that there was no bigger "turn on" for me than to know that he prays for me! How can you not help yourself to fall head over heels daily for a man like that!
