Love Dare Day 25- Love Forgives

What I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did it for your sakes in the presence of Christ. -2 Corinthians 2.10 Today's Dare: Whatever you haven't forgiven in your mate, forgive it today. Let it go. Just as we ask Jesus to "forgive us our debts" each day, we must ask Him to help us "forgive our debtors". Unforgiveness has been keeping you, and your spouse in prison too long. Say from your heart, "I choose to forgive." : I choose to forgive my lovebug, and I asked him to please forgive me for any wrong doings. I love him, and that is forever. Prayer: Dear Lord, thank You for being the greatest example of true forgiveness. May forgiveness keep my marriage free from the prison of sin. I love You Lord. Amen

I'm sure there's not much to forgive between the 2 of you, but what a treasure your marriage is to love and protect. Hugs, friend!

Yes, that is the key. CHOOSE to forgive. Love and forgiveness are choices...not feelings! Amen sis!

What a wonderful piece of advice, thank you for sharing. My husband and I have a good argument once in a while and then neither one of us can stay mad for very long, I think it is because we have Jesus in our home and there is a peace here.

This is good. So often we just move on and never ask our spouce for forgiveness.

This is beautiful and such an important thing in marriage. Each time I refuse to forgive...a wall is built between my man and I.
It blocks emotional connection and security for me.
This is a foundational truth that marriage has to follow to be healthy.
Good post girl

I saw the movie Fireproof with my husband, now I would love to read the book and do the challenge as well. I wonder if she will be starting the challenge again after this one is over.

Thank you Denise for always sharing from your heart. Have a blessed weekend. Bonnie
