Things are not going very well where lovebug works. They had already been cut down to only working four days a week, and yesterday, they laid off 92 people. They are planning on laying off twenty-three more people. Lovebug is safe for now, he has been working there for ten years. But, my heart really hurts for all those who were laid off, times are so tough right now. We do not know what is going to happen next, but the Lord does. I am holding on tightly to His precious promises, and I will not let go. Thank You Lord for saving lovebugs job, and please watch closely over those that lost their jobs. Hello! Pleased to meet you. I am so glad your husband's job is safe. God will honor our prayers for those out of work. Many years ago my husband was out of work for almost a year and the Lord was so faithful to us. We never lost our home or had to go hungry or anything. He provided for us with severance pay, our savings, and then the grace of our family, friends and church. BTW, I loved what you said about being a rose blooming in your husband's heart instead of a thorn!
I know that many many across this nation are in the same boat. It is good to stop and pray for those in TRUE economic hardship. I am glad that your lovebug is safe for now.

It's such a tough situation for so many people right now. Trusting in God is all you can do some days!
I'm SO thankful his job is safe. Hopefully all these folks can find work quickly. How long before the VW plant is up and running?

I know that pain you feel in the caring spirit you have for the other. When my Mr.'s plant shut down my husband was on of the last men standing. It just tore him up.

Lord, I pray for Your provision for Denise and Eddie and for all those who are in the process of losing their jobs or tightening the belt. These days are hard. We trust in You alone.
