Que Sera Sera

Hello everyone, praying that you are all enjoying your weekend. Well, remember back in June, my lovebug shaved my head. What an experience. I have not really said very much about whether or not my hair had started growing back. Well, yes it had. I was getting a little bit excited about it, but the excitement did not last for very long. I was still really bare on the top of my head, but the rest was growing really nice. But, then I began to have a problem with really bad itching, and my head actually hurt. I started having bad headaches. So, when I went to see my diabetes doctor, I told her about it. She examined my scalp, and told me that it was very red and irriated. She decided to run some tests. When the results came back, it showed that I have a skin condition caused from my diabetes. She also said that my thyroid was affecting it still. I asked her what I should do, can you guess what she said?? She put me on some topical medicine, and told me to totally shave my head. So, once again, I sat in my bathroom in front of my mirror last night, as lovebug shaved me. I watched sadly as the hair that had grown back fell off, and went into the garbage can. But, Que Sera Sera, whatever will be, will be. It is just hair, it does not define who I am. I am just thankful to be here, and to have the precious love of my Father God, and my lovebug. Sweet blessings to all of you.

I was wondering about this.
It does seem like life is full of one thing after another.
But..He is faithful to keep that which we have committed to Him till that day.
And your Love Bug.....he is part of the blessing along the way.
Keep breathing!

What will be...will be...the future's not ours to see QUE SERA SERA!!! GREAT ATTITUDE DENISE! Blessings!
I'm so glad you found out about this and are taking care...and that LOVEBUG...he is someone grand! What a blessing when things are down! But the Lord LOVES YOU just the same!
Do you read Especially Heather? She had such a dilemma with her bald head a while back...to wear a wig or not to a special banquet for honoring her husband. They both shaved their heads! That's the kind of love you have too! I'm blessed by you and your positive thinking!
What goes in your head will come out!...Blessings to you both this weekend and Lord's day! Draw closer

If I ever met you in person I doubt I'd even notice your hair or lack thereoff. Your inner beauty that we've all seen shine through.

Your lovebug is great.

Amen girl! Your light shines FAR FAR FAR BRIGHTER than ANY glistening hair could! And YOUR light comes not only from your outward beauty, but from the AMAZING RADIANCE OF THE LORD that just POURS out of ever part of you - every part of you shines brighter than any "outward beauty" - and I LOVE that about you my dear one!!!

I remembered reading somewhere about this person who's thankful for not having hair simply because no shampooing, no brushing and no restyling or haircuts! Now that's a lot to be thankful for, isn't it?

I find that to be really appealing seriously LOL. I remember watching Sinead O'Connor singing back a decade or two and she looked so beautiful bald.

So I envy you here (oops sorry, I know we are not supposed to be envious, it's just a figure of speech) I know you'd carry it with a lot of flair and confidence!

You are so right, Denise!! Your hair or your "whatever" does not define who you are!!

What is in your heart defines you. You have Christ in your heart, and He has you in His hands every moment of every day!!
