At The Well-Encouraging Daughters

I am not a biological mother, but I do have the heart of a mother. I have been blessed throughout my life to be able to be surrounded by young girls, who quickly became my adopted daughters of the heart. I only have one niece, and she, and all of her friends, have always been my girls. Their happiness and well being have always been very important to me. They have always known that I am here for them, day or night. They can find a place to rest their sometimes heavy, and hurting hearts at my home. I love them just as they are, because they are who they are. Nothing more, nothing less. I let them know that they are true princesses, because there Father is the King of Kings. I let my light shine before them, so that it will lead them to the Light of the world. I pray that they will all be sweetly blessed all the days of their life's.

I love your heart. My constant prayer is that the Lord would bring other Godly "mothers" into my kids' lives. You are making a huge difference with the way you love these girls.

I echo what Lauralee said. It's so important to have trusted adults in our children's lives. xxxooogretchen

Denise, your nieces are so lucky to have an aunt like you. I too had a very special Aunt in my life, so I don't discount at all the important roles other Godly women in our family can play in our lives. I miss my Auntie so much, she passed away from Breast Cancer in 1988. Thanks for sharing your story and visiting my blog :)

Have a blessed day!
