Live Well Wednesdays

Hello my fellow travelers on the road to better living. Hope your road this week has been a smooth one, praying that you have not had any bumps in your road. But, if you have, that is alright. I have had another bump in my road, but I am not worried. I am not going to be able to go to a dietitian, due to the fact that my insurance will not pay for it. We cannot afford to pay out of our pocket, but no worries, only smilies. Everything is going to work out, in Gods time, and His way. A dear bloggie friend has blessed me with tons of healthy information on a great eating well program. When one door closes, God opens wide another door for you. So, do not worry about the bumps when they appear on your journey, God will soon smooth them out. Be blessed my friends.

Great Attitude, Denise. There is a ton of information out there. I heard yesterday at WW meeting, that we are to eat 5 fruits and veggies serv. My leader said to Eat a Rainbow. I thought that was cute. Eat a variety of fruits and veggies everyday. Good advice for anyone. God Bless! and don't give up!

I understand about the cost of needed health help. My doctor referred me to a physical therapist to strengthen my back. It would end up being $1300.00 out of my pocket, and that is with insurance. So, I bought a book, and have been doing those exercises. I can tell the difference when I do them.

I'm glad you found an alternative solution.

Love in Christ, Tami

You always have such a good attitude!

There's a lot of information on the internet that can be accessed for free a good place to start is sparkpeople!! Here's a link:

I've been a member for a couple of years, I don't post but I do get their e-mails and read the forums from time to time. I think you'll find a lot of good solid weight loss material and fun people too!

Be blessed!

Well, you seem to have peace and joy in spite of your disappointment about the dietician. I wish you the best.

Happy that things are turning out well in spite of the little bump in the road.

You are so right about God always having an answer. I imagine you can find dietetic information on the web that would be the same as she would have shown you.
God bless you today and always.

There is so much on the internet, Denise, which can supplement whatever goodness your bloggy friend gave you. Wasn't that nice of her. Thank you for your ever-present enthusiasm for and total surrender to God. What an inspiration you are to me. Daily.

I've been to a dietician when I was pregnant, I had gestational diabetes, and much of what they do is gear an eating plan for your individual needs. Much like WW does. Most of it is portion control, but not just that it's sauces and how you cook. So just sticking with WW plan helps much. This is an interesting website for recipies

God bless and have a good week.

You always have a great attitude! Have you thought about weight watchers? It's really, really reasonable. Also, you get the support of others!

Also, a GREAT plan and a wonderful book is The Makers Diet by Jordan Rubin...he recommends a lot of organic stuff and what not - which is great, but if you can't afford it, you can do what you can. It's a biblically based diet - cool stuff! And don't forget to get you extra calcium w/ taking the synthroid - and vitamin D - very important!

Love you my friend!

It's always amazing how God wants to bless us even in what seems like a door closing. How wonderful to have someone help you along in this diet journey. I love the blogger who said to eat rainbow of fruits of vegies. I am going to use that with my kids.
