Hello everyone, I am stepping out to fight diabetes. My oldest brother passed away in June of this year from type 1 diabetes, he was only 55. I have a sister that is living with type 1 also, and I am a type 1. Due to this disease, I have nerve damage in my feet, hands, stomach, and left hip. I am legally blind, have kidney damage, and heart disease. I am only 44 years old. I pray everyday that there will soon be a cure for diabetes. Please join me in fighting this disease. The walk will be October 11 here in Chattanooga at the Riverpark. If you would like to make a donation of any amount, there is a link to my walk site on my sidebar. All of your prayers would be very much appreciated.

I'm so proud of you for putting your passion into action! Hubby and I won't be able to come over that day - we're leaving for Kenya around that date. I will speak with him in the morning about what we might be able to contribute to your walk.
