Cafe Chat

The catchphrase “It’s not about me” has become quite popular in our current world today. What does that phrase mean to you in your personal life? Explain. I apply this phrase to several areas of my life. First, my Christian life. My life is not about me, it is all about Him. His love, and light shining in and through me. I pray that when people look at me, they can see my Saviour. I never want to draw attention to myself, only to Him. I want to lead others to Him, so that they can become part of the precious family of God. Secondly, I apply this phrase to my marriage. My lovebug comes first, I willingly, and joyfully submit to him. In my home, it is God leading us, and my lovebug is the head of our home. I respect him, honor him, and very much appreciate him. The two greatest loves of my life are my Savior, and my husband. It truthfully should not be about you, but about what you can do for others. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, then you will realize that it is all about Him.

AMEN! Denise!!!! How blessed you are to have the TWO to honor and serve
ABOVE ALL else...it is not about us!

Your words are inspirational!

When you put Jesus, Your Savior first and your husband second that makes the perfect Triangle of marriage of equal before Him! May HE be exalted in your marriage and life as you continue to profess Him like this!!!

My eyes are fixed upon HIM! Thanks!

How much better it would be in this world if we could live 100% having our lives be all about Him.
One day.....it will be all about Him. We won't have to fight the flesh anymore and the struggle will be over.
I can't wait!

So true! It is so easy to put ourselves first or even our children, but that isn't even right. God, and then husband. Great post! :)
