Thankful Thursday

Welcome to another Thankful Thursday. I pray that your week has been filled with many thankful moments. I am so very thankful that God always has His eye on me. He knows what is going to happen, and prepares me to be able to handle whatever it might be. Diabetes has really begun to affect my body, I see changes daily. For two weeks now, my left hip has been totally numb. Due to my diabetes, nerve damage has set in my hip. It will be numb for the rest of my life. But, I am ok with this. I am not going to dwell upon the negatives, only concentrate on God and His love for me. My prayer is that nerve damage will not set in my legs, I truly do not want to lose the use of my legs. If that should happen at some point in my life, I will accept it. I will continue to rest securely in God, and let Him carry me in His loving arms. Please be thankful for your life, no matter the circumstances. Allow God to be in total control of your life, let go and let God. Be blessed my friends.

Denise, what a great attitude you have. You're so right, we need to be thankful for the body God gave us, and learn how to have an attitude of grace even in the worst times.

That's done with the Lord working through us (His power) because our tendency is to eventually break down and sometimes give in. He has such mercy on us and life lessons to learn.

It's so encouraging to be reminded to truly "let go and let God" because really we are not in control of the big picture. Thanks for sharing your thanks to God. Praying for healing in your body.

I am agreeing in prayer with Peggy!!

"Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven."
Matthew 18:19

Now receive this gift of healing, believe it because God does NOT lie! Don't doubt:

"If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." John 15:7

"Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." Hebrews 13:8

I am looking forward to your testimony of God's healings in your life!!

Blessings upon you!
Mrs. C.
