Live Well Wednesdays

Hello everyone, hope you have had a good week. Well, my weight is bouncing more than a rubber ball, bong bong!! With diabetes, your weight is really a waiting game. You stare at your scale to see if it is going to go up, or down daily. The insulin that I have to take really does mess with my weight. But, I have to take the insulin to live. Right now, my weight is fluctuating between 199-204. I start weight watchers next Tuesday, although actually, I am already watching my weight. lol Oh well, that is the way the rubber ball bounces!! Take care everyone, have a great week. God loves you, and so do I.

Praying for you dear sister. Keep on persevering...one thing is for certain your weight would only get worse if you were doing nothing. So you go girl! I know God is with you!

I just hope your Weight Watchers leader will steer the meetings in the right direction. Since re-visiting WW on my own (not a paid member, just using materials I got when I was 5 years ago), I've realized how important the leader is and how differently my first experience with WW could have been.

All we ever did was talk about lowering the points values of our favourite foods so that we could keep eating the same amount without it "costing" as much. That's completely missing the point of Weight Watchers!!

As long as your goal is eating smart and being more active, you'll have the right frame of mind ~ and SUCCESS!!!

Best wishes!!

I'll be thinking of you as you start WW, Denise. I'm starting up counting points and journaling, too. Ooops, I said it. Now, I'm accountable. ;)

Hi Denise. I sure know what you mean with the diabetes stuff! Nancy was at the Dr.'s on Monday and I got on the scale and I had not gained any weight and let me tell you I was so happy!! I felt like I had gained!! So when it said I didn't, wow! This is good! You will do good with WW!! love and hugs Grams

Hi Denise! Thanks so much for your comment. It was very encouraging!...I know some people who have done WW and it has been successful for them and they still enjoy eating. :) I'll say a prayer for your journey. I know that with patience you will see you goal accomplished!
