In Other Words Tuesday

Therefore I am now going to allure her;I will lead her into the desert, and speak tenderly to her.Hosea 2:14: This really speaks to my heart. God loves us so very much, and is so gracious to us. We may leave Him, but He never leaves us. We may put other people, or things ahead of Him, but we always come first with Him. He seeks us out, so that He may love us. He never gives up on us, no matter how many times we let Him down. If we call on Him, He always answers. He never promised us that our life would be a perpetual blooming rose garden, He told us that there would be plenty of thorns along our journey. I have learned to be grateful for the thorns in my life, for when I am experiencing them, I am closer to God than ever. When the world turns away, I am left alone with my God. I can truly hear His sweet voice as He speaks precious words of love and comfort to me. Thank You for alluring me Lord, and speaking tenderly to me. You are the love of my life.

It's a great comfort to know that He will never leave us. We can always count on Him to keep His promise.

Sometimes when things get rough it is easy to wonder if He hasn't forgotten. Or maybe wonder if He doesn't fully realize what the circumstances of life are doing to you. But, He is the lover of my soul.
I will tell my soul to give thanks to the Lord for He is faithful and loving.
Wouldn't you just love to be able to sit down and talk to Paul and find out if what he wrote down was what was going on in his head. You know if he was speaking what was truth even when his flesh and mind did not feel it.
You keep speaking it. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
You encourage my soul.

I agree with lori, above. You live as such an encouragement to us all, leading us back to the Father who waits with open arms.
