Cafe Chat

What is a positive tradition, or godly character trait that you learned from your extended family that you hope to pass down to your own family? My precious momma is in heaven now, but she left me so many treasures. She taught me so much by being a living example. Lessons learned: It does not matter how much money you have, or do not have, what matters is, how much love you give away. Live life to the fullest, cherishing every moment, big and small. When you feel like giving up, always look up instead. He will be there, always. Always let the people you love, know that you love them. Always be very willing to share your heart, your smile, and your time. To have a friend, you must be a friend, and be the best friend you possibly can be. Friends are true gifts that you give yourself. Be selfless, instead of selfish, it will make your life much better. Thanks momma, for such beautiful lessons, that you so wonderfully taught me. I pray that I show these traits in my own life.

Beloved Paternal Grand Mothers taught me tenderness. She would pat my back and just silently pour out tenderness.

oYu had one amazing mom. And I would hazard to say that she is very very proud of you. You learned her lessons well. I could barely listen to Steven Chapman singing that song on your blog...the tears are flowing. Wow.

Your momma was a super example to you. My favorite one that you listed was - "When you feel like giving up, look up."
