This week's quote is:
We must assess our thoughts and beliefs, and reckon whether they are moving us closer to conformity to Christ, or farther away from it.
~ by John Ortberg ~ What are your thoughts and beliefs based on, worldly things, or heavenly things? Are you wrapped up in all that this world has to offer you, or are you wrapped up in your Saviours loving arms? We are to seek an inward conformity to Jesus. The true Christian has been transformed inwardly, as well as outwardly. God has removed not only the mud, but the inner piggish love for the mud. We are to desire what He desires, and reject what He rejects. We are to seek to bring honor and glory to Jesus with our lives. God has predestined us to conform to Jesus, so we need to follow the Light to our destiny. Step out of the darkness of this world, and shine brightly for Jesus.

Good Morning Denise,
I so enjoyed your post for today. We all should be thinking of pleasing GOD and doing things for HIS Glory and not of this worldly things. The world today is just not right and we should be helping to make it a GODLY world. It is so easy sometimes to get wrapped up in the worldly things, but we should stop and think what we are doing before it gets wrapped up into us. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
Love & Hugs,
Karen H.
Love this. Especially your piggish sentence.
Shine on, Denise.
So true so true! *Hugs* Love you dear Sister for your always constant strength and inspiration. I feel so bless knowing you!
I think this has been the shortest post that I have read on this quote but yet SO powerful and true. Thanks so much for sharing this reminder!

I love this sentence. I want to be wrapped up in His arms. That's where it's at!
Good morning Denise! What a powerful post today!! Thanks for your visits and precious comments.
I Love you my precious friend,
Angela
I loved that quote, It spoke so much to me, turning the darkness into light each and every day. Thanks for these thoughts!!
One of the things I am learning in my journey toward Christ is that, whenever I let myself be abjorbed by things of the world, my connection gets weak. I can feel the distance, I can feel myself be filled with despair again. If I listen to that little voice saying I am too tired to read a Christian book, but I ought to leaf through a magazine instead, I feel empty. It may seem far fetched, but it is absolutely true. And it needs conscious effort to fight that voice, and concentrate.
Fabulous post! Very motivating and true.
I would really appreciate your input on what your top 10 fears are. I am seeking info for a book I am writing on overcoming fear.
Thank you
Christie Todd

Hi Denise! Great post!
Much love!
You are obviously very wise. Wonderful post.
I've known many Christians who have their eyes focused on worldly things and desires. It's very sad and unproductive for God's work.
Never have truer words been said. It's so important where we get thoughts and beliefs from. Garbage in Garbage out, so the opposite is true, when we surround ourselves with things of the Lord the rest becomes easier.
Love this post Denise.
Love and hugs
