In Other Words Tuesday

"Throughout the history of God's people, as given to us in the Bible, we see that life is a test. We have before us the option to trust God "no matter what," or to walk away from Him. To walk away from God is to leave the fragments of our dreams in pieces on the floor, but to trust Him is to let God pick up the pieces, and make us whole again. When we choose to let Him make us whole again, He will make our lives more beautiful than before." In pieces on the floor, such powerful words. I have been in broken pieces more than once in my lifetime, after my stepfather abused me, after finding out I could never be a mother, after my momma died, and after cutting myself repeatedly. But, did I choose to walk away from God? Did I quit trusting Him, or loving Him? Absolutely not!! Each time my heart has been broken into a million little pieces, and the pieces are laying scattered at my feet, I cry out to my Father. I run to Him, and crawl up in His lap, where I always find sweet peace, and much comfort. He gently picks up, one by one , the broken pieces of my life, and makes me brand new, better than ever. He is my ultimate healer, and I will forever praise Him.
