"The only thing worse than being blind is having sight, but no vision."~ Helen Keller ~ How very true this quote is, I totally agree with this. When we look out at the world through our eyes, what do we truly see? Do you ever really take a good look at the world around you? Are we so consumed with our own little world, that we neglect to see the bigger picture? Do we think that going to our church, and spending time with our friends and family is all that matters? Please do not take this the wrong way, spending time with your family and friends, and attending church, those are important things. But, there is a great big hurting world right outside your door. Adjust your vision to include something besides the familiar, look around. Get a vision of where God wants to use you, and let your vision grow and grow day by day. Seek out the lost, and hurting. Help to give them a clear vision of the precious Son, so that He may shine in their lives, as He does in yours. Be blessed my dear friends.

Oh I love that quote! Thanks so much for the challenge to look beyond what we see! Blessings to you today!
Adjusting our vision...what a great reminder. Bless you!
Denise, I love reading your words, they are so honest, touching and inspiring! Fantastic!
You know what is funny....you took the BIG picture and I took the SMALL one...How funny!!
You focused on the bigger world...and I talked of how we are often "blind" to what is underfoot!
Denise, I loved it....and for a gal who has "sight" issues....you sure HAVE VISION!!!
love you!

I think so often my vision is focused on myself. Thanks for the reminder today to focus on the needs of others and have a vision that includes the world.
Lord give us vision for the lost! Amen.
I always look forward to your reflective questions. You get our heart ready to receive. Bless you!
I agree we need to share the vision of Jesus in our everyday.
So true.
Someone else made a similar comment yesterday and it got me to thinking too. I don't actually regularly attend Church at this point, still open to finding the Church 'home' for us...but more than that, I don't want to become part of a small club that is insular and more about friends meeting up than what's going on outside...that had been my train of thought. Bless you heaps Bubbly One. I had this image of you again as I went to sleep blowing those bubbles. Cheered my heart.
i have tagged you
have a nice day

You're right Denise. We do need to get out of the comfort of familiarity and step out to see where God can use us. The amazing thing is that when we are allowing Him to use us we actually are more beneficial to our family that when we are only focused on our world.
Great job Denise! You are always so wonderful at bringing great insights.
A stirring reminder. Thank you for lending your voice and insight to this subject. It is exhortation I desparately need.

Very, very good point. I am usually so consumed with myself and what I have going on that I forget about all of the hurting people out there.
