About My Doctor Appointment

Hello my sweet friends, hope you are all doing well. Today, I had an appointment with my diabetes doctor, to go over all of the blood work results from back on March 6. There was not any good news, but that is ok. God is still in control, and carrying me. First, I am no longer a type 2 diabetic, it has flipped over to type 1. Any hopes I may have had, of eventually not having to take shots, flew out the window. I will be taking shots for the rest of my life, and will always be a diabetic. Secondly, my kidneys are not doing very well. I go back in five weeks, at that time she is going to recheck my kidneys, if they are the same, or worse, she will be sending me to a kidney specialist. My sodium, and chlorides were low, so I am drinking Gatorade. That is all I know for now, I have an appointment with my heart doctor next Wednesday. Blessings to everyone.

Denise,

I'm sorry to hear the report and also to know that you are a Type 1 diabetic. I had never heard of the types changing, so have learned something here.

Am praying for you, dear friend and lifting you up to our Father in Heaven.

Blessings,
Mary

You must be so disappointed that you will have to take shots for the rest of your life.

I prayed for your kidneys and that they would be better before your appointment in 5 weeks.

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

You are an inspiration, Denise. I love you.

Denise, I am so sorry to hear this. God can turn things around. Don't discount that. And that same God can give you all the strength you and Eddie need to get through this with joy. I pray that your kidneys strengthen. That the Lord will open up a way where it has seemed like there is no way.

Keep strong, Denise! Keep and guard your joy!
