About My Doctor Appointment

Hello my sweet friends, praying that you are all doing well. Yesterday was a very emotional day for me, I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. Eddie took a vacation day, so he could take me to see the new diabetic specialist. Her name is Dr.Roland, she is really nice. She made me feel very comfortable right from the beginning. For the first time, a Doctor truly listened to what I was saying. I have faith in this Doctor, she really seems to want to help me. She changed both of my insulins, I am now on more powerful insulin. I will now be taking five shots a day, instead of four. She sent me to the lab next door where they proceeded to drain me dry, lol they took 8 tubes of blood from me. She is checking me for everything. She said usually, she has her patients come back to see her in six weeks, but she said I have so many critical health issues going on, that she wants to see me in two weeks. At that appointment, she will go over all the lab work, and urine tests with me. She gave me a great big hug before I left, and said it was very nice to meet me. May God bless her for such kindness to me. After my appointment, we went to get something to eat, we were very hungry. When we got through eating, we took the birthday balloons that we had bought for my momma, and sent them, along with a birthday card up to heaven. I stood there crying, and blowing birthday kisses to my sweet momma. It was so beautiful watching the balloons float higher, and higher towards heaven, until they totally disappeared. I sang happy birthday to her, and fell into my lovebugs arms. He comforted me, and together we talked to our guardian angel, telling her how much we loved, and missed her. Then, we went and ate some birthday cake in her honor. Thank God for my precious lovebug, he always takes care of me.

Dearest Denise,
I am praying now for you and for your new doctor. Sometimes a little change, a new perspective help. May God send His Holy Spirit to her and guide her into providing better and more efficient treatment for you.
Your love for your mum brought tears to my eyes. May God have her to His right side.
And may God bless your husband and you as a couple with His true, unfailing love.
Sending you love and kisses.

Good Morning Denise,
"PRAISE GOD" that you found such a caring and wonderful doctor. She sounds really sweet. I'll keep praying that the test results will turn out good for you. I know you miss your Mother and that had to be such an emotional time for you yesterday, but I'm glad you did it and I know it made you feel closer to her. I'm sure she received the balloons and heard you singing to her. I'm glad that Eddie was there to comfort you during that special moment with your Mother. Our local weather guy is in Nashville for some kind of Radio Conferene and he was saying on his blog that Nashville may get some measureable Snow this weekend. He is there with Jim Cantore from The Weather Channel. I love watching Jim Cantore. LOL. As you know, I'm such a big weather geek, but I can't help it. Take care my friend and have a great day/weekend. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Maybe this dr is angel sent your way. I hope she will be able to help you. Your post brought tears to my eyes. It was a beautiful thing to do. I just wondered if you took a photo of the balloons going heavenward? That would have been awesome. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
