8 In 2008-March Check-In Time

Here is my list of 8:1)Have a special time of prayer on the first of every month for my lost family and friends. 2)Listen very closely to the sweet voice of my Savior, and do whatever He asks of me. 3)Take care of my health, do whatever I may have to do to feel better. 4) Exercise everyday, for at least 30 minutes. 5)Lose weight, at least 50 pounds by the end of the year. 6)Be the best wife I can be, work on my marriage daily. 7)Be a faithful prayer warrior. 8)Help others anyway that I can. Well, I am trying my best to keep these goals. I do have a special time of prayer for my lost family and friends, and my relationship with my sister has been restored. I praise God for that. I keep my ears well tuned to the sweet voice of my Savior, and heed His call on my life. I am doing my best to take care of my health, I really want to feel better. I need to do better with exercise, working on it. Still working on losing weight, will never give up. I love my sweet lovebug, and I do work on my marriage daily. I try very hard to be a faithful prayer warrior. I always want to help others in whatever way I can. I am just a flawed daughter, trying to please my dear Father, whom I love so very much.

I think you that working on our marriages on a daily basis is important. With the help of my Savior, I want to be more like Him. I really need to do better in the prayer department. Not that I don't pray, but my prayers are very spontaneous.

Thank you for the for sharing your progress on your 8. I totally forgot that today was the 8th - so my up-date has to wait until tomorrow :)

Blessings to you and your beloved.

Very good list. I have a little trouble with the exercise and the weight loss myself. I have such a sweet tooth. I am not so good with fruits and veggies, but like you I will keep trying.

Denise,

I haven't visited for a while and for that I apologize. Seems things have been so hectic here lately. The snow has really slowed things down and for that I am thankful.

You go girl! I am with you all the way. That weight will come off and I know you are trying really hard. Taking off weight is a LOT of hard work. I'm trying as well and have only lost 2 lbs. but the way I look at it is that it is two pounds gone.

Take care. I must check your earlier posts. I see Grams said something about lab results. Keeping you and Eddie in my prayers.

Love and hugs,
Mary

Denise, thanks for sharing your 8 in 2008. Sounds like you are doing great! I totally feel the truth of your last comment, "I am just a flawed daughter, trying to please my dear Father, whom I love so very much..." for myself. Yes, thankfully we have a Father, who is not flawed!

You are also madly loved by Him!

Love,
Elisa

I always love coming to your site and hearing your heart for the Lord...how wonderful to have a restored relationship...in many cases that would be defined as a miracle...sounds like you are moving closer and closer to that which you richly desire.
