Memory Verse Monday

The aim of "Memory Verse Monday" is to:1. Memorize a passage (or passages) of scripture.2. Share why you have chosen the verse, or verses that you have.3. Encourage one another with what God has been saying to you through this verse.4. Share the ways in which you find remembering verses works for you. Last week I memorized: I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. - Galatians 2:20 This verse really touches me, it says so much. I realize more each day that passes by, that I no longer live, but He lives in me. Through Him, I am able to have life, and live it more abundantly. My faith grows stronger each day, and my love for God grows more and more. I praise Him for giving His life for me. This week I choose to memorise: We love because He first loved us. If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar. For anyone who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. – 1 John 4:19-20 Stop by next Monday to see what God has been saying to me about these verses.

You are so valuable Denise. I loved that powerful memory verse and I love the heart for God that you have. How have things been where you live of late? Is all well with the neighbours? I know you mentioned that the others had left that were causing trouble, but just wanted to check that everything was OK.

What an amazing way to look at life- I am not living it- but He is living in me. Wow!
