Jesus-What A Friend

Are we weak and heavy laden, cumbered with a load of care? Precious Savior, still our refuge, take it to the Lord in prayer. What a friend I have in Jesus. I need nothing more, He is my all in all. I refuse to let this disease called diabetes, destroy my life. I will not let satan win, even though my body is being invaded by the affects of this disease, my spirit will remain strong in the Lord. I will not turn against my Saviour, nor blame Him for what is happening to me. He blessed me by giving me this life, and I intend to live this life for Him, forever. He is the friend that is always there for me, through the laughter, and the tears. Together, we are fighting this battle, and together we will win. Go God, You rule!!

Good Morning Denise,
That is such a beautiful song. What a friend we have in Jesus is so very true. When we feel as if we have no friend, we know that we have Jesus. "THANK YOU" for sharing these beautiful words of Jesus with us. I know you and GOD together will win this battle of yours. I read your post about the song you wrote for your Eddie. That is so precious. I do love being in love with my DH too. I feel as tho we are in High School and dating sometimes. He goes out of his way at times to make me feel really special. I do the same to him as well. I have finally put up a new post this morning. Hopefully things will get back to normal around here since my DH left this morning. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

Oh, my heart goes out to you friend. My 17 year old son has type 1 and it is so hard for him.

I keep trying to remind him that at least this is managable, unlike so many other afflictions.

Big hugs to you,
Sue

What a beautiful praise to God. I hear you...Sister....that's the way that I feel with my diseases too! I will be thankful and praise him in all things...both in laughter and through tears and pain.

I hope that you have a restful nights sleep and a wonderful new day to begin the new week.

I Love you, Denise!

Amen to that, Denise. I know that it is not easy to battle a disease like diabetes. I love how you keep your eyes fixed on the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Blessings to you and your beloved.

Way to speak the truth in the face of the one who wants to bring you down.
We will all one day stand before the throne and we will hear Him say---well done my good and faithful servant.
Hope you had a beautiful day with our Lord.
