In Spirit And In Truth

John 4:21 Jesus replied, “Believe me, dear woman, the time is coming when it will no longer matter whether you worship the Father on this mountain or in Jerusalem. 22 You Samaritans know very little about the one you worship, while we Jews know all about Him, for salvation comes through the Jews. 23 But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit, and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way. 24 For God is Spirit, so those who worship Him must worship in spirit, and in truth.”
In light of this scripture please take some time to answer these questions;
1. What does true worship look like to you? True worship comes straight from the heart. It is pouring all you have to give out on the altar of Gods heart. It is praising Him with your heart, soul, body, and mind. Shout to Him, sing to Him, read to Him, pray to Him. With all you do, worship Him. He is so worthy of our worship.
2. Describe a true worship experience that you have had, and what God said to you during that time? Recently, during my illness, I have had some awesome worship experiences. My God is drawing so very near to me, and He is telling me to carry on daughter, carry on. I praise You Father.
3. Who is your favorite Christian song/artist and why? My favorite Christian artist is Casting Crowns, and my favorite song is I will praise You in this storm. I love this song, it has become my life's anthem. No matter how dark this storm may become, or how long it may last, I will continue to praise You in this storm my Father.

Great truths Denise.
Kind of reminds me of Job and the mess that was his life-in the worlds eyes--and yet he praised.
Keep touching His heart girl!

My fav is Praise You In The Storm too. I know what it's like to live through a storm after my first husband went home to be with Jesus many years ago. God's grace sustains us and moves us forward - Praise Him!

It sure can be hard to praise God through the storms! But I know we need to.
