Tuesday In Tennessee

Happy Tuesday everyone, it is another cold morning here in Chattanooga. It is only 26 right now, my oatmeal is helping to warm me up. Praying that you are all staying warm. I talked to my sister last night, she is feeling really down. We are both diabetics, and so is one of my brothers. She went to see her doctor last week, and her kidneys have gotten a little worse. They are now only functioning at about 30%, my momma was not a diabetic, but she had kidney disease. Momma died from a major stroke, but before she passed away her kidneys were only functioning at 25%. This is a very scary situation for my sister, she is facing possible dialysis, or a kidney transplant. I told her that I am more than willing to give her one of my kidneys if I can. I know that I would have to be tested, because I am in stage one kidney disease myself. I praise God that my sister has been saved, and she truly does love the Lord. I told her she cannot give up, she has to keep trusting in God, He will carry her through this. He will show us all what needs to be done, and He will give her strength to make it through this valley. Father, I am laying my sister in Your very precious, and capable hands. I know You can perform miracles, and You are a healer. Thank You for being her true physician. I give You praise for all You have done for her, and all that You will continue to do for her. I love You with all that I am Father. Sweet blessings to all of you my friends.

Good Morning Denise,
I'm sorry to hear about your Sister's Kidney problems. Yes, GOD is the one true Physician and HE will see her thru this. I am also a type 2 Diabetic. I take pills twice a day. It runs in my Family tho. My Mom is a Diabetic and my Dad is also. My Dad controls his by diet and my Mom takes 2 pills a day as well. I will be praying for your Sister. "PRAISE GOD" she is saved and loves the Lord. That is always such a comfort in knowing just that. It is cold here in Arkansas this morning as well. Oatmeal does sound good this morning. It's also good for the heart as well. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

I will pray for you and your sister.

Keep warm. I remember walking in the snow in Tennessee trying to get to classes. I also remember this Texas girl falling a lot on the ice. LOL But, I loved every minute of it.

Love Ya

Oh hun, I'm so sorry that you are going through this. I will be praying for you all.

My 17 year old son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 13. No one else in the family has it. It can be so difficult, but they are making great strides with technology.

God bless and big hugs,
Sue

May I join with Denise in praying for her sweet sister - especially that she would be certain that her only hope is in You. Protect those kidneys, but even more importantly, protect her heart and make it Yours.

I'm so sorry about your sister's kidneys. That truly is sad news. However, as we know, God is a great healer. Put it all in His hands. I keep both you and your sister in my prayers.
