Thankful Thursday

Hello everyone, another thankful Thursday is here, praise God for His goodness. I am so thankful for my life. I am thankful for a warm home this morning, it is 14 degrees outside, add in the wind chill factor, it feels like 7 outside. But for the grace of God, I could be homeless, living in a cardboard box. I pray for all of the homeless, may they find warmth through the love of God. I am thankful for food to fill my body, and I pray for all those suffering from hunger. May they feed upon the precious word of God. I am thankful for warm cups of tea, or hot chocolate to warm my insides and quench my thirst. I pray for all those that are thirsting, may they soon drink from the everlasting fountain. I am very thankful for the love I daily receive from my Father, may others soon join the precious family of God. May you all be sweetly blessed today.

So true. I think we often forget to be thankful for the "simple" things. Although for those without a home or heat it certainly doesn't seem simple.

I'm glad to see you back to your usual uplifting self! It was negative double digits here last night and I join with you in gratitude for a warm home and hot chocolate. Now I need to join you in remembering to pray for those who may not have those luxuries. Thanks Denise!

I went to Opal's grave site a few days ago while we were in Alabama. Things still look the same. I made my rounds up there. The weather was great. My daughter, her husband & Abby joined us. We had a great day. Some pics are on her Facebook account. Thought we may have run into you.

Love,
(Aunt) Katrina

Thank you for your prayers, Denise! I know you understand the importance of being held by others close to the Father. How's your vision these days? Maybe I need to read down a few posts in case you've already answered that question.
Over here in the western NC, we still have snow on the ground from the other day. The temperature on my front porch this morning at 6:30was 4 and then we had a heat wave and it went all the way to 20! I just can't seem to get warm today! Layers, layers, layers.

I love your list by the way.

Lovely message to your visitors! And lovely new look for your blog in the new year.
We were walking along a square in Thessaloniki during our Christmas vacation, and the children saw a homeless person for the first time. He was sleeping in a box. May God always grant us His blessings of what we take for granted.
You have put together a great list of Thanks. Thank you, Denise.

It is neat to know that someone is so close to my little brother.
Little things like the temp make him seems closer.
Thank you for your list girl.
Love ya!
