Thankful Thursday-Compassion

Hello everyone, another thankful thursday is here. I love to read what everyone is thankful for, you all have such grateful hearts. Thanks for hosting this Iris, I appreciate you. Compassion, such a precious thing. Here is the dictionarys definition of compassion:sympathetic consciousness of others' distress, together with a desire to alleviate it. I praise God for the compassion that He always shows to me, in so many areas of my life. Recently, He has been working overtime, pouring out compassion upon me. I have an appointment today with my eye doctor, and I am feeling nervous. My eyes have really been hurting me, the pressure is bad. They ache, and I have terrible headaches right above my eyes. My vision is getting worse, everything is so smeared, looking out of my eyes is like looking out of a window that has been sprayed with windex. I was in pain today because of my eyes, and I cried out to God. As always, He heard my cries, and ran to help me. He shined His loving compassion into my heart, and wiped my tears away. He made everything better, and I know that no matter what happens at my appointment today, everything will be alright. Blessings to you all, God loves you all very much.

Praying for your eyes today: Jesus have compassion on Denise and relieve her pain, give her doctor wisdom to know what treatment will help her get through this.

Denise, even with a fuzzy outlook, your vision is clear.

Lord please be with my friend Denise. Allow her doctor's appointment to go well. Bring sunshine and hope her way. Please heal her vision problems. I hate knowing she's suffering. I want to help her and make her feel better and not alone. Please Lord send comforters her way. And bless her all the days of her life as she looks to you for strength and life. You are worthy of all our praise.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Denise,
Thanks for stopping by the blog earlier. I keep praying for your eyes, and although the vision seems more difficult your "view" of God seems sweeter and clearer day by day.

let me know how your appointment goes on your eyes. I'll be praying for relief for you. I wanted to ask you as well if you'd be interested in being one of the Women in the Spotlight for the pms club? I think you have an interesting story to share and so many ladies could benefit from it!

I will be keeping you in prayer. I hope your appointment goes well. I almost lost my left eye before Christmas so I understand the fear that can go along with it. For me, I always described it as looking out of milk smeared Saran Wrap because everything was milky-blurry looking. Thankfully that eye is better now, but it was a very frightening time. I will pray that God will give you peace through your struggles & that healing will be on its way. God bless & keep on pressing on!

Denise,

I do hope your eye appointment goes well. I am so sorry that your eyes cause you such pain. That is very hard to endure.

God is so good. He knows everything about us. I continue to pray for you, my dear friend.

Today is such a beautiful winter day, it's hard to think that only yesterday road and weather conditions were terrible and people were without power. We were lucky. Everyone in this area had power and was able to stay safe and warm. I didn't step outside the door. That kind of weather is not for me anymore.

Love and blessings,
Mary
