Got Burdens?

Got burdens my friend? I am sure we all do, or have had at sometime. Are your shoulders getting heavy from carrying the weight of the world upon them? Do you feel like no one understands, or cares what you are going through? Is your heart heavy, and your soul weary? Please know that it does not have to be like this, your burdens can be lifted, and your load made lighter. Turn your eyes upon Jesus, He wants to help you, never hurt you. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you.(1Peter 5:7) He will turn your burdens, into blessings if you allow Him to. I know life can be tough, but Jesus is tougher. He never promised us that life would be easy, but He did say He would never leave us, or forsake us. Remember, He has carried a heavy load, the cross of calvary. He understands my friend, He really does. Be blessed.

Good Morning Denise,
I hope the storms weren't too bad there. We had alot of rain yesterday. I'm guess in all, about a total of 3 to 5 inches of rain. This is such a wonderful post. It is so true. I can attest to it because since we have been going thru some hard times and all my blogging friends have been praying for us, I can tell that GOD has answered prayers. "THANK YOU" my friend for all the prayers you have prayed for us. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.

Love & Hugs,
Karen H.

You're very inspirational dear Denise....and I love this entry. It makes one very humble knowing that when we're down and out, others have it much worse than we do....and there's hope just in prayer and seeking for answers and love!!!

My favorite poem is "Footprints in the sand"....and those words "It was then that I carried you" makes me strong during the troubling times.

What a great picture for a timely verse. We all need to be reminded of these promises in Scripture.

Denise, this is a beautiful post. And I have to say, I was just talking about this whole thing with my oldest son last night as we drove to the polls. It turns out that where we are assigned to cast our vote is way out of our way...but the drive allowed us a great time to talk. I will probably be posting on it this week, (Good Lord willing & the creek don't rise!)...your post has reminded me of that conversation!

Thanks, Shorty! :)

Denise - Thanks for an encouraging word! I just found your link from The Seventh Day site. Anyway, I'm glad we do have one who understands the trials and troubles we face, so we're never alone!

This is just the post I needed. I've been worrying so much about Hailey that I'm going to drive myself crazy. I just need to remember to cast all my cares upon Jesus.

I just learned in bible study that the word "cast" literally means to throw them at Him. Hurl them at Him. Let Him have these heavy burdens....and even the light ones!

And, that picture speaks volumes!

Hope you have had a good day....
Hugs,
Fran

Life is up and down.. good and bad.. laughter and tears.... We lean on others we pray for others .. Our burdens are lighter when others help us lift..

Gal 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Denise,

A powerful post. Grandma used to tell us, "I cried when I had no shoes until I met a man that had no feet." Someone, somewhere is always worse off than we are. We are never along and God can lift our burdens.

Love the graphic. I will post about our terrible weather tomorrow.

Blessings,
Mary

I love the picture!
I know I have felt like that before.
But You are right He wants those burdens--I'm learning.:)
Something so stubborn about this heart of mine. Good thing He is patient.
Love ya girl

Amen to that Denise. It is so true - although life will still not easy, but the burden will be lighter if your burden upon Him.

Thank you so much for sharing.

Blessings to you and yours...
