Waking To A Beautiful Day

Well, I had an appointment with my eye doctor yesterday afternoon. It was a disappointing visit, no good news. There is still swelling in both of my eyes, and the pressure is high in both eyes. Blood is in the back of my left eye, where the bad cataract is. There is scar tissue covering the implanted lens in my right eye. The plugs that he had put in my eyes a few months ago were gone, and my eyes are severely dry. When they test your tear ducts, the number they like for it to be is 20, mine was 4. So, he put more plugs in my eyes. I really feel like he has given up on me, so I am going to go to a diabetic eye specialist for a second opinion. When I came home from my appointment, I had to lay down and close my eyes because they were hurting so bad. I cried, then went to sleep in Eddies loving arms. I woke up this morning to a beautiful day provided by my precious Father. He always pushes the clouds away, and lets me see the sunshine again. I love You, and I thank You Father.

Denise,

I apologize for not getting over to read your post earlier. I'm so sorry that your eye appointment was disappointing. I do agree that you should see a diabetic eye specialist. They are very knowledgeable. I don't know why your doctor would give up on you.

I am praying that God sends His angels to minister to you and surround you with peace. I pray that the pain will lessen and that the diabetic eye specialist will have a more favorable opinion.

God is good, dear friend.

Hugs for a great evening.
Mary

Thanks for stopping by my place and entering my fall bloggy giveaway. I'm sorry to hear of your eye problems. If it's any consolation, we've had a pastor friend who has had much of the same problem. He's had to have a few eye surgeries and I know it's hard on him. I'll be praying for you, that God will heal your eyes and that He would comfort you in this time of uncertainty.

Girl I want you to know that I have a great big love of the Father for you in my heart. I thank Him for you and your gift of encouragement. You have been such a blessing to me. Words can not express how much your little notes lift my heart. How your cheery little picture bring a smile to my face. You are loved. If I had a little spittle from the Lord your eyes would be the first I put them on. Sweet one--keep reaching out in love. The love you plant in blogdom is felt and needed. We love you.
I pray too for a relief in the pain. That this new doctor would have wisdom to help with your eyes.
I will continue to pray-so will my church. Your name was lifted last night at out little church.
Hold on tight to His hand. He loves you dearly. You are His little hands of love here in blogdom.
