A thru Z- T is for thankful

Psalm 92:1 It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High: Are you thankful for your life? Do you have an attitude of gratitude? How often do you count your blessings? Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away, when you sit down to that delicious meal, are you going to dive head first into the sweet potato casserole without thanking the One who provided the meal? Why do you think it is called thanksgiving? I think it means we are to give thanks, to the One who is always giving to us. The Lord gives and gives to us, and we gladly take from Him. But, how often do we tell Him, thank You Lord? Start counting your blessings everyday, and make sure you tell the Lord thank You, for all He has done for you.

We have a Thanksgiving tradition I thought I share with you. When shopping for the food or decorations. We take time to give thanks to God for each person who will be enjoying this time with us. We do this as we drive to the store and decorate our home leading up to the day.

Count your blessings,
name them one by one.
Count your many blessings
See what God hath done.

I've always loved that song. I hum it as I go about my daily chores. We should give constant thanks and praise to God. Grandma taught me that a great way to do that was to hum while I worked. I still do it to this day.

When stress weighs me down, I will suddenly realize I've stopped humming. Then I know that things are getting to me and call on my Lord for help.

Have a magnificient Monday.
Mary
