1Corinthians 10:14 Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.:We are not to worship anyone, or anything above God. Yet, so many of us do exactly that. How often, do you find yourself putting your friends and family before God? What about your job? What comes first, prayer time and devotions? Or, watching television, or your favorite video? Is going to the mall for new shoes, more important than alone time with God? Who sits on the throne of your heart? God, or the newest american idol? Well, God gets my vote every time. I have no other gods before Him. I choose to serve only one God, and He is the one, and only true God. All other so called idols, pale in comparison.

This is beautiful, hon. I find myself asking that question a lot lately. I am really good at putting people before God. I put my family's wishes(not my husband and girls, my other family) above my time with God. I have been feeling very convicted about a lot of things lately and this is probably in the top 5! Well, I am rambling! Hope you are feeling better today!
