A thru Z-H is for heaven

When you hear the word heaven, so many beautiful images probably run through your mind. Such as, streets of gold, glorious mansions, crystal rivers. No more tears, sorrow,or pain of any kind. But, that is not what makes me long for heaven. My longing is to see my precious Saviour, to sit at His feet, and learn from Him throughout eternity. I want to thank Him, for all He has done for me, I want to tell Him repeatedly how very much I love Him. I want to soak in the Sonshine, and sing praises to my Jesus. I have often heard people, when talking about their vacations, describe it by saying, it was heaven on earth. My friends, you have not even seen a glimpse of heaven yet. Until the day, Jesus takes me by the hand, and leads me through the gates of heaven, I will keep my eyes and heart focused toward heaven, for I am in the world, but not of the world.

Good Morning Denise, I am up really early for me!! I needed to be able to use the computer because Kelly has to have it later and I wanted to get the lovely award posted that you gave me yesterday! Thanks again for thinking of me!

Again you write a great post on Heaven! To be with Jesus! It will never ever be any better than that!! Love you, Grams

Denise I loved that! We do live in this world...but we don't have to let it live in us!
I can't wait until the day we meet our Savior face to face!
Thank you for this awesome devotion---wonderful thoughts for today!

I think of my Pappa Abba Father holding my wherry mind in the palm of his hand and kissing my brow. I think about learning what it is to have a brother, in Jesus knowing what that kind of love was supposed to be like. I think about the sounds of worship without the clamor of this world.

And I keep my eyes and heart looking up.
What a wonderful devotion, I will keep this in my heart on those days my eyes turn down.

A beautiful vision to be sure. When my Grandma lay dying in 1974, she told me that she was looking forward to seeing her Savior when she crossed the river Jordan. She was a wonderful christian woman.

I've linked to you in My Favorite Blogs. May God bless you abundantly for the peace and inspiration you bring to others through your words.
