Thankful Thursday

Time for thankful Thursday, lets all share our blessings. 1)Eddie and I will be going to a new church Sunday, it is actually the church we were married in almost 23 years ago. I am looking so forward to it, the Lord is really working on us both. 2)I go back to the eye Doctor this afternoon, hopefully he will be able to help me in some way. 3)Eddie is beginning to let go of the anger he has been feeling about my health problems, he realizes that God is not doing any of these things to punish me. There is a reason for everything. 4)I feel closer to Eddie everyday, he helps me on the days I struggle with my vision. I appreciate him so very much. 5)For new blogging friends that I have made recently, bless you Julie, Heather, Sandi, Elisa, Kelly, and Sharon. 6)For all of my sweet blogging friends, thanks for your prayers, encouragement, and of course your love. 7)For my precious Saviours faithfulness to me. 8)I am thankful for time, it grows more precious to me daily. 9)I am thankful for my friend Crystal, and her beautiful new CD. If you do not have this CD, you really are missing out. It blesses me daily, I listen to it over, and over. I am constantly singing along with it:do you know where your treasure is? Song number one on the CD, and the title of the CD is my treasure. This advertisement brought to you today by a very grateful friend, me!! lol 10)I am thankful that I get to participate in thankful Thursday, thank you Iris for hosting each week.

What a sweet advertisement :) - I so agree with you on the CD - I have been turning it up in the car and yesterday I must have listened to the CD at least 4 times during my work hours.

Thank you so much for sharing your grateful heart with us this week, despite your health issues. I hope that the eye appointment will be going well.

Be blessed today and always.

Praying for a good appointment today! I'm glad Eddie is letting go of his anger. I can certainly understand his feelings, it's hard to see a loved one suffer.

Your advertisement for Crystal is so sweet!

What a great list! It reminded me of a sermon that was given (or was it in a Bible Study...One of the 2) where someone stated that there is a purpose for all things that happen...sometimes it's to draw you closer to God, other times it's to bless others.

I will continue on praying for you. I want to say I'm thankful for the music in the backround of your blog. Some days, like today, I just get caught up in a song (Like A Hero) and listen and think and praise God. What a blessing your blog is.

Oh Denise,

May I pray for your Eddie?

Lord,

I am humble before you as I approach the trone with Jesus at my side. Lord, I ask you to look upon Eddie today. There is a lot of pressure upon him and he has been struggling for a long time. Today Lord, I ask you to bind the enemy that wants to keep him away from knowing You. I ask you to give Eddie a peace that surpasses all understanding and to guide him in the weeks ahead.

Lord, I pray for Denise. To patiently wait with Eddie as he makes his way to to this new area of life. Comfort her. Heal her Lord. In the powerful and life-changing name of Jesus. Amen.
