Memory Verse Monday

I found this over at Karens blog:http://prayingkaren.blogspot.com/ here is what she says about it: I am starting something new. For a few weeks I've been thinking that's it's high time I meditated on a Bible verse each week, and get this verse deep into my spirit. Why? Well, when hard times come, I can declare what God's word says in that situation, I can meditate on the promise of God's word, or I can focus on a Rhema word God has given me.The aim of "Memory Verse Monday" is to:1. Memorize a passage (or passages) of scripture. 2. Share why you have chosen the verse, or verses that you have. 3. Encourage one another with what God has been saying to you through this verse.4. Share the ways in which you find remembering verses works for you. The scripture I am choosing to memorize this week is Mark 8:23-25: So He took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town. And when He had spit on his eyes, and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything. And he looked up and said, "I see men like trees, walking." Then He put His hands on his eyes again, and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly. I chose this scripture, due to the fact that I am having so much pain with my eyes, and my vision is daily getting worse. I claim this verse, and hold tightly to it. If it is Gods will, I will one day soon, look up, and see everyone clearly. Thank You God, whatever You choose to do, I will accept.

Good verse.
I love that He used His spit. Don't know why it hits me. But I do guess we know that any contact with Him brings healing.
Next week I will participate in this also.

Denise,

You chose an excellent verse. I will be praying that God's Will will be done with your eyes. I'm sorry that you have such pain. I will pray that the pain is erased.

Blessings, my friend.
