My Adventure

Hello my sweet friends, praying that you are all doing well. I thought I would share this mornings adventure with you. I gave Eddie a scare, then a laugh. Early this morning, our cat started singing her song, it goes like this: meow, meow, meow, meow. Translation: get out of bed and feed me immediately, or there is going to be big trouble. So, I jump up, and head to the kitchen, feed the precious one, and head back to bed. As I start to get back in to bed, I have no idea what happened, but I missed the bed. I hit the bedside table, and the garbage can, then the floor. My right knee took the full force of the fall, it really hurt. Of course, Eddie jumped up, and was so scared. He helped me up, and doctored me. My knee is swollen, and badly bruised, I have a bad bruise on my hip, and one on my neck. My upper abdomen, and chest are very sore from where I tried to stop the fall. But, I laughed about it, I told Eddie: I am the only person that can fall getting into bed, not out of bed, but into bed, lol Now, everytime Eddie looks at me, he says, wanna try getting into bed again?? Men!!!

My husband probably wouldn't let me live that one down either. :-)

Oh my goodness!! I hope you will be okay!! That sounds like a nasty fall. I know you are diabetic so watch everything!

I will be the big 7-0 next August so I kinda feel like everybodys, Mom or Grandma!!

But really do watch that everything heals up!! Love and Blessings Grams

Thankful it isn't as serious as it could be!
It's also nice that Eddie was home to take care of you.
Much love!

He will definitely not let you live this one down.....So glad you are ok! It's good to have a sense of humor about these things because those kinds of things happen to me way to often and the only other option would be to cry......and that's just no fun!
Blessings

Is your knee feeling flexible and weight bearing? I stepped over the big dog and he stood up. I'm 10 months out of surgery for two torn meniscus. Watch the knee, ice it every twenty minutes and elevate, there now I can say that to someone else :) Remember let sleeping dogs lie. Let hungry cats wait. :)

Wow!! You must have been half asleep or just wanting to get back to bed quickly!! Poor kitty!! They are so demanding..I know our two are too. They start about 5:30 in the morning. I just ignore them. My hubby gets up because he is a morning person...NOT Me!! They can meow all they want!! I sleep!! Please be careful and watch yourself. Sandy
