My eye surgery has been set back one week, it was suppose to be done on Monday, July 30, but has now been scheduled for the following Friday, August 10. This actually is a sweet blessing, because Eddie was not going to be able to be with me, because of work. His mom was going to take me, but now, Eddie will get to take me, and then be with me until Monday. So, I am thanking the Lord for this precious blessing, I always feel better when Eddie is by my side.

I am so glad you get your heart's wish! I too need my husband to be next to me when a health issue comes up more than any other loved person. Thank you so much for responding to my post. I think your reasons, are so real. And i couldn't help smiling with the wisdom and wit of the knocking on the door reason!

Thankful that the Lord worked this out for you! I'll bet Eddie is relieved too. I'll bet he would rather be with you for this. God is so good.
I feel the same about having my strong husband with me. God's ways are perfect! He always knows how to work things out for us. He said that if we would delight ourselves in Him, He would give us the desires of our heart!
