I Am Bible Study-Lesson 9

Discussion Questions:
1. On a scale of 1 to 10, rate yourself on how often your conversation is seasoned with the works of the Lord on your behalf? If you speak very little of Him, is there a reason you know of? If you speak often, how do people respond? I would give myself a 7, I love to talk about the Lord. One of my brothers called me a christian fanatic once, because he said that was my favorite topic of conversation. But, I consider that a compliment, I am proud to be a Jesus fan.
2. Have you experienced a Set Up for a Show Up when you were uncertain whether the situation was the chastisement of the Lord or a temptation of Satan? Yes, when my momma was dying, and I became her only caregiver. It hurt so bad watching her slowly leave me, my heart was breaking daily. But, I now realize, that God was teaching me a valuable life experience, out of my mommas death.
3. Have you ever or are you now experiencing any Job trials where you can still not identify any wrong-doing on your part? Yes, the situation with my two brothers, and my dad. They do not want anything at all to do with me. But, my precious heavenly Father, wants everything to do with me, He is teaching me, that He is the only family I truly need.
4. Apply this principle: How can my response make my God famous? Will obedience result in my sanctification and God's Glory? I am very willing to be a cheerleader for my God, I want to praise Him for all He has done for me. If it were not for Him, I would be wondering this world lost, and headed for hell. If I let my light shine brightly in the world, maybe others that are lost in the dark, will seek out the light.
5. Does the origin of our affliction matter in view of the fame God can gain from it? No, God will always come through for you.

Your vision of the Lord and His saving grace comes through loud and clear, Friend. Still, I'm sorry for all the pain you've been through, especially with your family. You're right though--what Satan uses for harm, God uses for good. Blessings.

I noticed on your profile that you are from Chattanooga. We recently moved from that area and I miss it.

I too know distance in my extended family. It can be sad sometimes but God is enough isn't He?

It is nice to meet you.
